Meet hamish
Hamish Robertson started Groundswell because he wanted to do things differently. Unlike many of the bigger accounting firms, Groundswell is built on establishing and growing professional relationships. That’s why Hamish works closely with every client using both face-to-face meetings and the latest in cloud technology.
With more than twenty years’ experience in accounting and finance, Hamish is passionate about the Noosa area and helping businesses grow.
MEET MEL
A woman of many talents, Mel has been a public practice accountant specialising in small business for more than a decade. With experience in a variety of firms across Brisbane, Toowoomba and Noosa, Mel became a valued partner of Groundswell Accounting in 2022.
Her first career as a musician and soldier in the Army introduced Mel to the importance of strong processes, procedures and team management – skills that transfer well to accounting!
Mel’s enjoys spending time with small business owners, helping them to understand and improve on their business success.
When not in the office, Mel is an aspiring triathlete and trombonist. She is also a mother to two teenagers and two boisterous dogs, all supported by her (very patient) husband.
